Thus, the name of our project, The Love Youth Project. Hopefully, in time, after we've done our groundwork with the existing homes in Singapore, we'll be able to find a service gap and provide it. This is of course, a life-long commitment that we're undertaking, but one we hope to see through.</div><div><br /></div><div>For now, though, we'll be updating this blog regularly on any progress we make, with interesting video interviews, activity pictures and sound bites. Hopefully, it'll stimulate some change!</div><div><br /></div>So, let's get down to business. Today involved sending out emails to the 20 listed homes in Singapore. <div><br /></div><div>They include: </div><div><ol><li>Andrew &amp; Grace Home</li><li>Boys' Town</li><li>Canossaville Children's Home</li><li>Chen Su Lan Methodist Children's Home</li><li>Children's Aid Society Melrose Home</li><li>Infant Jesus Centre</li><li>Kids United Home </li><li>Marymount Centre Ahuva Good Shepherd</li><li>Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home</li><li>Salvation Army Gracehaven </li><li>Salvation Army Haven</li><li>Sunbeam Place</li><li>The TENT (Teenagers Experience New Truth)</li><li>Darul Ihsan Orphanage</li><li>Darul Ihsan Lilbanat</li><li>Jamiyah Children's Home</li><li>Muhammadiyah Welfare Home</li><li>Pertapis Children's Home</li><li>Pertapis Centre for Women and Girls</li><li>Bukit Batok Hostel</li></ol><div>So far, three have turned down our help due a very full volunteer schedule. While I am disappointed at said response, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. There are many Singaporeans who've already dedicated their time and able-bodies to serving this countries' youth.</div><div><br /></div><div>On a brighter note, the Salvation Army Gracehaven and Jamiyah Children's Home have responded favorably, offering to meet us and hear our suggestions.
